Unique Facts about Mark:
Mark has been creating pieces of art with his unique, journalistic approach for over 20 years.
Early in his career he studied improvisation with the celebrated Second City theater group in Chicago. Mark credits his love of acting and improvisation as a perfect way to reach out and understand everyone he photographs. He puts each person totally at ease, unaware of the camera. His patience ultimately creates the perfect setting for anyone no matter the age or the location.
Mark is well known for his work with people with special needs and disabilities. His work has been featured on ABC and WGN news.
Mark volunteers for numerous non-profit organizations and is most proud of his work with Make-A-Wish, Best Buddies and The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundations. Mark captured the beauty of Africa and its children on AIDS missions with the Glaser Foundation. His journeys in Africa were featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Although Mark's studio is based in Chicago he takes his style on the road throughout the world and loves to travel.
